Scholarships

First Tee - Connecticut offers several scholarships that are available to young people active within the chapter. We have awarded more than $555,000 since 2006 with awards given annually to qualified students at all grade levels. The Class of 2024 included 31 young people!

Announcing the Henry Hughes First Tee – Connecticut Scholarship Fund

In Honor of Henry’s long-standing and significant contributions to the game of golf, the PGA TOUR and Connecticut’s only PGA TOUR event, the Travelers Championship.

Financial Aid

  • Group Lessons
    • During the spring, summer and fall we offer group lessons where we expose First Tee’s curriculum. Where we help strengthen character, kids will learn life skills that stay with them into the rest of their lives all through the game of golf.   • Summer Camp
    • During First Tee – Connecticut’s Summer Camp participants are exposed to a four day experience that includes golf instruction, exposure to First Tee’s Life Skills curriculum and on-course activities.
