Jay Taylor – Bio

Jay has spent the last 20+ years working as a Sports TV Camera Operator in the New England sports market, covering teams such as The Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots and local televised college teams such as BC, BU, and our own UConn Huskies.  Jay has also worked with The WWE, Bellator MMA, and The Monster Truck Shows when these events come to the CT area.   Jay’s passions in sports are hockey and golf, playing both from a very young age and continuing to enjoy the competition and comradery to the present day.  During the winter months you can find Jay driving the Zamboni for the Hartford Wolfpack at the XL Center in Hartford.  Jay’s golf instruction experience dates back to the early 1990’s when he was running Jr Golf summer programs at The Golf Improvement Center in Newington Ct .  He has also been an assisting coach for both Jr and Adult programs at Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin Ct, working under the 2020 CT PGA Teacher of the Year, Head Pro Marc Bayram.  Jay is looking forward to continuing to help grow the game of golf and “Building Game Changers” with the First Tee of CT.
